“A good coach can change a game, a great coach can change a life”
– John Wooden
We have GREAT coaches! Learn more about our crew below!
Jeremy started his journey in the sport at the notion of wanting a new challenge and immediately fell in love with the trials and rewards of endurance sports. Along his own journey he realized that he had a passion for sharing the knowledge he learned and enjoyed celebrating the success of others. Helping fellow athletes achieve their goals is his passion and greatest reward, even over his own successes. His coaching philosophy is founded on the power of the mind and believes that training the mind, as well as the body, is vital to an endurance athlete’s success. Knowing that the power of the mind is often not addressed in training, he assembled an amazing team of professionals to help athletes of all levels reach their fullest potential. He has left no stone unturned in an effort to get athletes to exceed even their own expectations. Jeremy has been racing for 9 years and coaching for 6 (full time for 5) years. His athlete successes include multiple Boston Marathon qualifiers, 70.3 World Championship qualifiers, helping 2 athletes earn their pro card, working with a female domestic cycling pro and more PR’s than he can keep up with.
Ray has a true passion for the sports of swimming, cycling and running. Giving back to the sport and helping athletes achieve their “impossible” is why coaching is more than just a job. Ray uses various methods of training to create a strong base for each athlete, increase efficiency and decrease chance of injury. He enjoys personalizing training plans and frequent communications with his athletes to monitor and adjust for maximum performance. Ray has 14 years of swimming experience with 2 years at the collegiate level; including being a National Olympic Qualifier. He has competed in triathlon for the last 10 years with the last 5 years being focused on half and full IM distances. Ray has been coaching for the last 2 years. His athletes have a variety of backgrounds, fitness levels and areas of focus.
Brandon officially started coaching in April 2016 and earned his Ironman U Coach’s certification in July of the same year. He is currently coaching multiple new athletes who are training for their first 70.3 distance race and several seasoned runners who are looking to hit new personal records in both half marathon and marathon distances. He is passionate about helping others push their limits and achieve goals they never thought were possible. In the past he was always interested in helping friends and other athletes based on his experiences and successes as an athlete and after a few years of helping friends he knew that coaching was something he wanted to do on a regular basis. Brandon is constantly seeking more knowledge in the sport and has a plan to earn other certifications in the future. As an athlete, busy professional, and someone who is active in his local community he knows very well what it takes to juggle things and still train. He takes this approach when building effective training plans for athletes who have busy lives. As an athlete Brandon has completed several marathons in under 4 hours and has gone sub 5:30 in an Ironman 70.3.
Jesse was born and raised in Brownsville, TX, where to this day endurance sports is not as popular as it is in other parts of the nation. Growing up he was involved in football, basketball, track and field (shot-put and discus) and weight training. He began participating in 5k races in the Houston area with his now fiancé, Monica, back in 2012 as a way of mixing up their workout routines. In 2015, Jesse had the crazy thought of training for a triathlon and in July he completed his first sprint triathlon. Fast forward to 2017, he completed his first Ironman distance triathlon at IMTX in The Woodlands. Along the way, he inspired friends and family members and helped coach them through their first races. It was then when he knew he wanted to coach and share his knowledge and experiences with others to help them achieve their racing goals.
My name is Jordan Bressler. I am a 12 year Army veteran and served with the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. My career met it’s untimely demise when I was catastrophically wounded on my last deployment.
It was through my recovery that ultimately led me to the sport of cycling. I began cycling during the summer of 2010 and was soon introduced to Paralympic cycling program. I have been competing in both USAC and Para events since 2012.
Along my journey I have experienced some success with the highlight being my National Championship road win in 2016. It is my goal to pass along what knowledge I have gained along the way and to help others get the most out of themselves.
Nickie is a professional triathlete who lives and trains in her hometown of Dayton, OH. Triathlon became her main focus in 2010 and she has now been racing professionally for 3 seasons. Nickie is a registered nurse and is an employee of eleven years at a locally owned running store, Up and Running in Dayton. She has an extensive background in running as she has taught beginner programs through the store and she currently teaches the store’s monthly running form classes. Nickie is also in her second season as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s cross country team at Bellbrook High School.
